About ADPR.

I’m Amy Doary, a communications strategist and publicist, and the founder of ADPR, a Public Relations agency, based in Toronto, Canada.

PR Consultant Amy Doary

I have been a leader in the communications industry for more than 20 years, running strategic communications and PR campaigns for major brands, organizations, public figures, TV networks, and streaming platforms.

I’ve had some amazing highlights in my career, including including two Olympic Games, coordinating interviews with Prince William and Prince Harry, and being behind the scenes for high-profile events like the red carpet with Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney and Heated Rivalry breakout star Hudson Williams – an organic viral moment that created international buzz.

I have led press campaigns and media strategy for globally recognized talent, including Jason Momoa (true gentleman), Lady Gaga (work ethic and heart, 10/10), Kelsey Grammer (dedicated to delivering), and Patrick J. Adams (charismatic and proudly Canadian). I have also consulted with digital creators and emerging talent, helping them expand into mainstream media, grow their presence beyond social platforms, and navigate and build strong relationships within the media landscape.

My work spans doing publicity for the Canadian editions of some of the world's most recognizable TV franchises like The Amazing Race, MasterChef, RuPaul’s Drag Race and Jersey Shore, as well as overseeing red carpet and press strategy for major events such as the Toronto International Film Festival, MuchMusic Video Awards, and the Juno Awards, and I’ve

supported major platform launches for streamers Crave and Paramount+.

Corporate communications is within my wheel house too, having done crisis management, organizational transformation, and internal and external communications for one of the largest media acquisitions in Canadian history.

After decades in corporate PR, I decided to launch ADPR, my own public relations agency, so I could have the power to work on the projects I felt passionate about.

I work with clients from entertainment and television to technology and wellness. I am also inspired to create content that allows me to advocate for issues I care about, including autism awareness and cervical cancer research.

With ADPR’s course and service offerings, you too can learn what I’ve come to know and build the skills needed to communicate effectively and be noticed in today’s noisy media landscape. We pride ourselves in approaching each project, offering, and course through education, expertise, community, execution and empowerment. These are the foundational elements of what we do as we work with clients to build their confidence, media IQs, and profile.

What Our Clients Have to Say.

Amy was recommended by a local contact as someone who could help us hit the ground running at one of our biggest pay-per-view events – WWE SummerSlam. They were right – she was easy to work with, had a positive attitude, and excellent knowledge of national and local media. Crucially, she got us the kind of top-level results we demand at WWE. Amy was an asset to our team and I look forward to working with her again.
